WHY: Because equality for all is necessary. California Women’s Music promotes an environment that fosters self-confidence, creativity, and teamwork. CWM challenges gender stereotypes, encourages collaboration and tolerance among peers, and provides a comfortable and safe place for girls of all backgrounds to express themselves. Through live music events, workshops, group activities, and art, girls acquire skills that help guide them throughout their lives. Proceeds benefit Reel Stories in Oakland.
